These round and flat sponges are mainly used for application of the Perfect Duo foundation, although they may also be used with other products.  One of these sponges is included in the Perfect Duo compact, where it is housed in the well underneath the product.  However, in order to maintain smooth application of the Perfect Duo foundation, it is recommended to either clean or replace the used sponge from time to time.  Like most sponges, it can used dry for sheer coverage or wet for more opaque coverage.
